Kruger’s Farm Stand
Under the Tent on 22nd and SE Hawthorne

Daily 9am – 8pm
For us city folk, a visit to a country farm stand is not very convenient. Luckily for us, the gods of time saving have bestowed upon us a farm stand in the city. Open everyday on 22nd and Hawthorne, Kruger Farms in Sauvie Island supplies this stand with the bounty of the farm. Whatever they have at the farm, you will find it here, plus more, all at farm stand prices. The day we went, strawberries were $10 for 6 pints (or $2 a pint). Thats as cheap as they come besides U-Pick, so we happily bought a buttload (is that in Websters Dictionary yet? It should be). This farm stand has been here for over 10 years and is a very nice, spacious place to get your fruits and veggies. Adjacent to the space is a random, small seafood shack, Flying Fish Company . They have chinook salmon, clams, scallops, cod, BBQ oysters, and Oregon shrimp, along with local farm eggs and fresh grass fed Beef, Lamb, and Chicken. Combined with the farm stand, no need for any other grocery trips! This makes me very happy inside.
Besides fruit and veggies, there is a small garden/nursery, local jams, honey, popcorn, nuts, and even handmade baskets. It is a really cool shopping experience, I recommend it highly.
Debit/credit cards ok over $5, shopping carts are available. Take the kids here! Ours loves the honey stix and she has surprisingly gotten very helpful picking out fruit. Finally paying her dues.
BN Out!

This is my first time we visit here. I discovered so many entretaining things in your blog, particularly its dialogue. From the tons of remarks on your articles, I suppose I am not the only one getting all of the leisure here! Keep up the great work.
