Well, we managed to eat pretty well in Kauai. In Hanalei, where we were staying, there is a organic supermarket that has a small salad bar in it. It was delicious and fresh, so we hit that 3 times. There is a smoothie window inside also, where we had a wonderful selection of fresh fruit smoothies.
Scattered around the island are numerous juice bars and fruit stands, one of which must be related to me (Joe, give me a call, we should get in business together!)….
It is really hard being back, such a beautiful place. Being on the beach everyday, swimming and boogie boarding, is my idea of heaven. I hope to live over there some point in my life. Just for a little while, I would get restless on an island, I am sure of it. I like that it is an easy environment to stay healthy in.
